 Nestled near the banks of the Tamar River we offer a fine dining experience in our renovated (but kept to the period) cottage with also lovely outdoor seating in the shade of our large Holm trees or in the sun with majestic valley views.

 

We have an experienced qualified chief preparing mouth-watering dishes with the finest of locally grown foods all matched up with our Iron Pot Bay Vineyard wines.

OUR NEW RESTAURANT

Planted in 1988, Iron Pot Bay Vineyard now offers a beautifully refurbished cellar door and well appointed tasting rooms in a unique little spot in the beautiful Tamar Valley, Tasmania.

 

With eight award-winning wines on our wine list including sparkling, white and red, we offer tastings as well as a well thought out "regular menu" of divine local produce matching our cool-climate wines in taste, including delicious vegan, vegetarian and children's options.

 

We also have a delicious assortment of mouth-watering cakes made on site daily, perfect with a well brewed cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

OUR MENU

Nestled among the vines, we serve up sumptuous local produce 4 days a week (Thursday-Sunday) to allow our fabulous Chef Sam a few days off.

 

Tastings and lunch are served in our refurbished century old cottage.

 

In the warmer Tasmanian weather, we have an inviting and refurbished outdoor patio with large matured oak trees providing full and mottled shade.

 

A picturesque 45 km journey from Launceston, we welcome visitors and are also 'geared' up for the adventurous cyclists... our newly fitted bike rack is ready and waiting!
